May 2008 Tip Series: Your Mind Your Health
 

1. Subheading: Change the way you talk to yourself
TIP: Stop condemning yourself. Look at the positive things in your life. Look at your accomplishments instead of your past failures.
 
2. Subheading: People respond to their experience, not to reality itself
TIP: We do not know what reality is. Our senses, beliefs and past experience give us a map of the world from which to operate, but a map can never be completely accurate, otherwise it would be the same as the ground it covers.

3. Subheading: Having a choice is better than not having a choice
TIP: Always try to have a map that gives you the widest number of choices. Always act to increase choice. The more choices you have, the freer you are and the more influence you have.
 
4. Subheading: Focus on assertiveness
TIP: Speak up when you ought to speak up. If you don’t voice your true feeling, another voice will speak for you!


5. Subheading: Accomplishment
TIP: Come to believe in the power and presence of the spirit with in you. Accept its power and permit it guidance. Feel that you are speaking from this center of divine certainty within you when you state. “There is one Life, that Life is God, that Life is my Life now.”
